I forget the fine art of simplicity sometimes. At a recent Heart of New Ulm cooking class, for dessert, we created a yogurt and fruit parfait. Fresh, honest and real, plus it tastes like cheesecake. A greek yogurt, getting more readily available in our local grocery and a more positive price point than in the past (thank you Michelle Obama for a focus on better choices not being tied to our pocket books, someday easy nutrition for all) and cash wise brand granola with mangos and strawberries and we all had second helpings. so do the guests. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
it may not be locals, but somebody ‘gets’ tourism!

With 190 thousand and counting apps for the iphone, recognizing one that steers folks to a bed and breakfast by some big guns is pretty impressive. Closing in on tourism week makes this count even more for those of us who get up and *go* to work, usually without breakfast and making beds rather than the luxury of sleeping in one that someone else has made. Innkeepers: we love what we do and we appreciate I Love Inns for how they continue to support the industry with their dedication and expertise! Happy Mothers Day to I love Inns: with recognition like this I am certainly her baby!
